Library & Activities Center 2022
The Dang Library Project, led by Yours Humanly Nepal, established a vibrant, child-friendly library at Shree Secondary School in Pratapkot, Dang—one of Tulsipur’s most underserved wards. Designed to inspire reading and creativity, this model library has transformed how students experience education and has become a benchmark for similar efforts across the country.
What began as an effort to bring books to a neglected rural school evolved into a full-scale renovation and educational upgrade. With colorful design, accessible resources, and carefully curated materials, the library now serves over 200 students and has drawn national attention. Supported by the Behring Global Educational Foundation, this project not only enriched the academic lives of children in Dang but also set the stage for future initiatives like STEAM labs and librarian training programs throughout Nepal.
